  • Problem diagnosed: late blight, stem necrosis, fruit borer & viral diseases.
  • Details of technology:

Crop: Tomato

  • Trap crop: marigold to save the crop from fruit borer & root knot nematode.
  • Pesticides: Coragen for fruit borer cymoxanil & mancozeb for late blight, early blight and fusarium & verticillium wilt.
  • Results: Pest infestation & infection remarkably reduced.

Result of Assessment

Survibility of Giriraja bird was high. The growth performance and feed conversion efficiency showed better result.

Dressing percentage hatchability and fertility percentage was better.

Disease Incidence

  1. Swine fever vaccination was done so there is no incidence of swine fever
  2. Deworming was done every 60 days
  3. Iron injection was given @ 1ml/piglet on 4th and 14th day of life

Result of Assessment

Crossbred pig showed better performance and data on parameters showed better performance and farmers are ready to adopt the technology for rearing of pig

Meat – 350 kg (5 pigs)

Piglet – 42 nos

Net profit :   Rs.49,700.00
